  Otakay is a creature named "Guardians."
  Guardians was brought upon the world when the humans wanted safety from the mythical beasts during the time. Believing to come from the place above the stars. Guardians was rumored to appear from the sky falling down to the world like shooting stars. Guardians started to show up to villages full of humans. Promising to protect them from the cruel beasts to exchange for safety of their cubs, shelter, and medicine people to heal their wounds. Both made the agreement and was bonded like dogs and humans. The Guardians has the unique ability to resist certain types of magic which the beasts during the time held. As well, having incredible amount of strength. There were only at least 1 or 2 guardians at each village/small towns. Years later, new creatures shows up as well new magic. People traveled from different worlds. The new ones found the Guardians abilities unique. So they wanted that ability for themselves. Guardians by Guardians were killed for every piece of them. Nearly at extinction the Guardians gave up on trying to save their species instead, They decided to go back upon the stars. Nearly every Guardian made the Great Journey to the highest point of the mountains. Some were killed along the way by people they trusted. As well armies with distorted minded Guardians. (Which everything in their mind is killing). The last pack of Guardians made up to the mountains until they were ambushed by a group of hunters as well 3 distorted. Otakay was apart of the pack when he was just a cub. The mother of him ran away from the cruel men and was forced to leave him behind.
